The Embedded Safety and Security Summit (ESSS) is focused on
improving the growth of the Indian embedded industry ecosystem.
ESSS 2016 is the second edition of the successful initiative
driven by LDRA and partners, with support from our clients,
industry and professional bodies, and government agencies. We
thank the community in India for the overwhelming response for
our first summit - ESSS 2015. With a theme, ‘Inspiring Safe and
Secure Designs’, ESSS 2016 will run for 2 days, 8-9 June 2016.
ESSS is part of a larger LDRA industry initiative – CEDP
(Certification Ecosystem Development Programme). CEDP intends to
establish an ecosystem for safety and security practices which
encourages world-class embedded designs, originating from India,
for industries such as: Aerospace and Defence, Nuclear,
Automotive, Security, Rail, Medical, Industrial, etc.
With around 2000 participants (1000 attendees each day), the
attendee list covers: scientists, engineers, managers and
representatives of certification bodies from various domains of
embedded industry. ESSS 2016 builds a common platform to share
knowledge about safety and security practices for critical
embedded systems and provides the opportunity to foster
co-operation among industry stakeholders and decision makers.
Focusing on wider industry spectrums, ESSS 2016, will have five
different industry focused tracks on two continuous days,
Day 1: Aerospace and Defence, Automotive and Medical
Day 2: Embedded Systems Security and Energy
