Embedded Systems Solutions, ESS, a leading provider of embedded software and hardware solutions, is extremely excited and happy to announce a multi-city roadshow with PIKETEC (TPT) Experts in Bengaluru (16th Feb 2023), Pune (21st Feb 2023) and Chennai (23rd Feb 2023).
The TPT Expert, Dr Jens Lüdemann, will share his experience and knowledge about robust test strategies that guarantee high quality, reliable and safety certifiable software. He will discuss his recommendations on the importance of early testing, traceable test plans for every single test object across all development stages, diverse test data and maximum test coverage. He will speak about important testing strategies for different test levels (MIL, SIL, PIL, HIL, Vehicle). In the sessions we will also discuss how these aspects are greatly simplified with TPT Test Software. Other very pertinent topics like testing AUTOSAR based systems and testing temporal behaviour of systems relevant to ADAS systems will also be discussed.
These sessions are intended to bring together automotive software experts -technical leaders, engineering managers, product owners, decision-makers– to discuss the latest trends in world of automotive software. With automotive software becoming increasingly technologically advanced, highly sophisticated, and complex, it is imperative that software providers focus on highly reliable development, verification, and validation methodologies, software quality, software maturity, and readiness for safety certifications.
The sessions will also provide a forum for automotive experts to convene and discuss trends/advancements, challenges, share ideas, network, and discover best practices for developing best of class automotive software.
We welcome you to attend these sessions in person. Being an important member of your organization, leading the software development and testing initiatives, we believe these sessions would be of value to you.
These sessions are free and invite only. The dates, schedule, venue, and agenda details are as follows. The sessions will conclude with a complimentary lunch.

Online Webinar,
• 11AM IST
onwards
Come join us for a
live demonstration on how to use MapuSoft’s RTOS
Simulator. There are many advantages to using a
simulator. MapuSoft’s RTOS Simulator eliminates the
need for expensive proprietary operating systems as
well as the need to use expensive target hardware
during development and testing. It allows software
development and testing to begin early on
inexpensive Windows or Linux host PC’s.
ESS invites you to an engaging webinar on using a
simulator for embedded development. In this webinar
we will be demonstrating the usage of RTOS
Simulator. During this webinar, you will learn how
to program on different operating systems.
What is
RTOS Simulator?
RTOS Simulator is
Virtual Environment that helps engineers develop,
integrate, run, debug and test RTOS applications on
Windows and Linux host platforms. The integrated
development environment supports all popular and
commonly used RTOS interfaces with code generation
and profiling capabilities configured for different
hardware such as the ARM, x86, PowerPC etc.
Who Should
Attend?
RTOS Developers
Embedded Developers
Faculties, researchers and students interested in Embedded
development
Why Should
You Attend?
Learn and Understand
the benefits of using RTOS Simulator
RTOS Simulator eliminates the need for the original
OS, as well as the requirement for expensive target
hardware during development on a host computer. RTOS
Simulator allows you to develop product prototypes
on inexpensive target hardware. The result is lower
licensing costs, reduced hardware requirements and a
shorter time to market. RTOS Simulators are
available for eleven popular OS Platforms.

Time-to-market and reliable products - sounds like contradictive requirements. You can master both by applying the right tools and techniques. Very much dependent on the right concept - selecting the right RTOS and the use of capable tools - keeps you focusing on your application.
A powerful IDE like Embedded Studio is one cornerstone. Completed by a fast and reliable debug probe like the J-Link - if you need trace capabilities for code coverage and code profiling, then J-Trace PRO is the choice.
To understand the behaviour of your application, like any kind of communication processes - a real time analysis tool like SystemView will help you to sort out any mal-funtions.
The webinar will provide hands-on demonstrations and source code using SEGGER embOS RTOS running on the SEGGER emPower evaluation board equipped with a NXP MK66FN ARM Cortex-M4 processor.
Key takeaways
How to select a ? Real-Time Operating System and toolchain
Methods to quickly and efficiently setup an RTOS environment
Techniques for successfully creating and scheduling tasks
How to synchronize tasks using mutexes, semaphores and message queues
RTOS Application Debugging Techniques
OS aware debugging
Perform run-time analysis
Verifying RTOS applications using deep insight analysis
Best practices for using an RTOS in an embedded system
Recommendations for going further

The new CMSIS-RTOS API v2 addresses new requirements such as dynamic object creation, support for ARMv8-M, message passing in multi-core systems, and full support of C++ run-time environments. This webinar will compare the CMSIS-RTOS API versions and will show how to migrate source code and utilize the new features in Keil RTX5, as it is the first real-time operating system that implements the new API as its native RTOS interface for ARM Cortex-M processor-based devices.
Date: 1st Dec, 2016 Time: 9:00AM GMT or 1:00PM CDT
Today, flexible and easy-to-use software components are essential
for microcontroller applications. These software components are
frequently a "black box" to the application programmer, which
makes the analysis of potential issues challenging. This webinar
will introduce the Keil MDK Event Recorder and explain how it
enables programmers understand and analyze the operation of
software components. The webinar will also discuss how to use the
provided infrastructure to add specific MDK debugger views to
user applications and third party middleware.
Heterogeneous devices, such as the NXP i.MX series, utilize the
best of both worlds on a single device: a Cortex-A processor
running Linux for complex application software such as data
analytics, graphics, or complex networking is combined with a
smaller Cortex-M processor for real-time behavior with minimum
power consumption. While heterogeneous computing has many
benefits, software development becomes challenging when managing
Linux application development, classic embedded microcontroller
software and inter-process communication. This webinar will show
how the new DS-MDK simplifies software development on
heterogeneous devices by enabling Cortex-M/A bare-metal debug and
Linux application debug in a single powerful tool.
Date: 17th Nov, 2016 Time: 9:00AM GMT or 1:00PM CDT
ARM recently announced the first two processors using the ARMv8-M
architecture, ARM Cortex-M23 and Cortex-M33. ARM TrustZone for
ARMv8-M adds security features to these cores that allow
applications and services to operate securely while safeguarding
the secure resources from being misused, corrupted or inspected
by intruders. The webinar will explain how to program secure and
non-secure domains on a processor with TrustZone.

We, Embedded Systems Solutions along with XJTAG, Cambridge, UK take the pleasure of inviting you to attend a " Free JTAG boundary scan workshop – Concepts,
Tools and Design for Test " on 16th September 2015 in Hyderabad.
JTAG and boundary scan are common names for the IEEE standard 1149.x. Learn more about boundary scan technology with 'hands-on' workshop. Discover the problems the technology can solve, and how to make best use of it as an electronic circuit design engineer. The workshop is a primer to see how boundary scan can be used from start to finish, both to improve designs and reduce re-spins as well as to enhance test coverage, fault diagnosis and production yields on complex BGA-populated circuits. The workshop will also cover how to test non-JTAG devices using boundary scan.
Who can attend this Workshop:
This workshop is an ideal opportunity for engineers involved in design, development, test and manufacture to discover how using XJTAG can speed up the process of debugging and testing their boards throughout the product lifecycle.
Workshop agenda as in below:
